Menopause Tracker - MenoLog is designed to keep your personal health information private. Your profile, check-ins, notes, and symptom history are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
1. Information stored by the app
The app may store information that you choose to enter, including:
- Your first name and menopause stage
- Your selected goals and symptoms
- Your personalized onboarding and care-plan preferences
- Symptom check-ins, mood entries, and hot-flash logs
- Journal entries and consultation-preparation notes
- Reminder schedules and notification preferences
This information is used only to provide the app’s tracking, personalization, reminders, insights, and reporting features.
2. Local storage
Your health and profile information is stored locally on your device using iOS data protection. The app does not create an online account and does not upload your health information to developer-operated servers.
The app does not use HealthKit, iCloud, or third-party cloud storage for your personal health entries.
3. Information we do not collect
The app does not:
- Run third-party advertising SDKs
- Use analytics or cross-app tracking SDKs
- Collect your precise location
- Access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
- Sell or rent your personal information
- Use health information for advertising or marketing
4. Notifications
Notification permission is optional. If enabled, reminder schedules and notification text are provided to iOS solely to deliver the reminders you request.
You can disable reminders within the app or change notification permission at any time in iOS Settings. The app remains usable when notifications are disabled.
5. App Store purchases
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your full payment-card or Apple Account credentials.
The app reads the minimum verified subscription-entitlement information necessary to determine whether premium features should be unlocked. Apple processes purchase information according to Apple’s Privacy Policy .
6. Exports and sharing
Information leaves the app only when you deliberately use an export or share feature. For example, you may choose to create and share a PDF, CSV file, text summary, or consultation report.
After you choose a destination, the exported information is handled by that destination’s application or service and is subject to its privacy practices.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your information remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, use the app’s “Delete all app data” feature, or remove the app.
You can delete locally stored information by opening the app and selecting Settings → Profile → Delete all app data. Deleting the app also removes its locally stored app data, subject to normal iOS device-backup behavior controlled by you and Apple.
8. Medical information
Menopause Tracker - MenoLog is a personal tracking, reflection, and organization tool. It does not diagnose, prevent, monitor, treat, or cure any medical condition.
App summaries are descriptive calculations based on information you enter. They are not clinical predictions or medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical or treatment decisions.
9. Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security
We use the protections provided by iOS to help safeguard locally stored information. No storage method or electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should also protect access to your device with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID where available.
11. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app’s features or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
