Privacy Policy

SuppTrack is designed so the developer does not receive your supplement or health-related information.

Information stored on your device

The app can store supplements, ingredients, schedules, dose history, inventory, prices, purchases, check-ins, notes, preferences and reminder settings using Apple’s local storage frameworks. These records remain on your device.

Information collected by us

None. SuppTrack has no account system, developer backend, advertising SDK, tracking SDK or third-party analytics SDK. We do not receive your locally stored records.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases. SuppTrack receives entitlement information needed to unlock features. The developer does not receive payment-card details.

Notifications

If you grant permission, reminders are scheduled through Apple’s local notification system. Permission is optional and can be withdrawn in system Settings.

Camera and label scanning

If you choose barcode or Supplement Facts scanning, Apple’s camera and text-recognition frameworks process the image on your device. SuppTrack does not upload or retain camera images. Extracted label fields remain editable before you save them locally.

Offline product catalog

SuppTrack includes a versioned local selection of product-label records from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database. Barcode and catalog searches happen on your device and are not sent to the developer or a product service.

Apple Health

If you explicitly choose Connect Apple Health, SuppTrack can read sleep duration, step count, resting heart rate and heart-rate variability. This access is read only. Samples are aggregated in memory to display private trends and are not copied into SuppTrack storage, exports, widgets, iCloud, analytics or any server. SuppTrack does not write data to Apple Health. You can manage individual permissions in the Health app.

Widget

The Home Screen widget uses a minimal local App Group cache containing supplement names, occurrence identifiers, scheduled times and completion state. It excludes check-ins, notes, prices, ingredients, purchases and Apple Health information.

Exports

Data leaves the app only when you intentionally create an export and choose a destination through Apple’s share interface. After export, the destination’s privacy practices apply.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain until you delete them in SuppTrack, use Delete All Local Data, or remove the app. The developer cannot retrieve or delete records because the developer never receives them.

iCloud

SuppTrack does not use CloudKit to synchronize health-related records.

Children

SuppTrack is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Terms of Use

Educational organization tool

SuppTrack organizes user-entered supplement information and provides general cited education. It is not a medical service and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, personalized dosage or emergency assistance.

Verify product information

Supplement formulas, packaging and instructions can change. Verify all product, ingredient, amount, expiry and schedule information against the current package.

Medical decisions

Consult a qualified doctor or pharmacist before changing a supplement or medicine routine, treating a deficiency, or acting on an interaction concern. Do not delay professional care because of information in SuppTrack.

Subscriptions and purchases

Auto-renewing subscriptions are processed by Apple and renew unless cancelled in App Store subscription settings. Lifetime access is a non-consumable in-app purchase. Current localized price, period and eligibility are shown by Apple before purchase. Apple’s applicable standard end-user licence agreement also applies.

No warranty of label accuracy

Catalog and user-entered information can be incomplete or inaccurate. Inclusion of a product is not endorsement by SuppTrack, NIH, FDA or Apple.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, attempt to circumvent paid access, or rely on it for emergencies or professional medical decisions.

Changes

This policy will be updated if app practices change. The effective date will be revised and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated where required.
